In today’s urban transportation landscape, choosing a cost-effective and profitable light truck is crucial. Jiangxi Isuzu has addressed these user needs with their ELF light truck, featuring top-performing power systems, spacious and lightweight cargo compartments, and the latest Isuzu lightweight chassis, particularly the high-strength steel frame. This frame not only handles heavy loads but also offers excellent fuel efficiency, enabling users to transport more weight and reduce fuel costs.

● High-strength steel frame, strong bearing capacity

A light truck aimed at creating wealth must have ample cargo space and strong load-bearing capacity to win over consumers. The frame plays a critical role in determining this capacity and can also reveal whether a used truck has been in an accident. The popular Isuzu ELF light truck features a side beam frame, composed of two longitudinal beams and multiple cross beams, offering excellent adaptability for future conversions into specialized vehicles such as refrigerated, aquatic products, and electric engineering vehicles.

For maximum vehicle durability, load-bearing capacity, and driving safety, a frame must have sufficient strength and rigidity to handle the weight of the truck and the impact of the wheels. While other products on the market use 510L steel, the Jiangxi Isuzu ELF light truck utilizes 700L high-strength steel, which boasts better tensile strength. This results in an ultra-high-strength frame with exceptional load-bearing capacity.

The truck also features a variable-section frame, single-layer girder design, and standardized mounting holes, while weak stress areas, such as the frame tail, are perforated to reduce weight. The frame of the Isuzu ELF is higher than its competitors and has a width of 790mm (820mm wide), satisfying the need for large loads and improving driving stability.

●Reinforced front axle and ultra-high-strength rear axle for increased load capacity

The front axle of the Isuzu ELF light truck transmits forces between the frame and front wheels, providing support for carrying, braking, driving, and steering. The reinforced front axle enhances the vehicle’s load capacity through 8000T die forging and an 80x88x3mm I-beam design. The new-gen front axle system features a 12-degree inclination for easier steering and reduced tire wear, plus an anti-rolling stabilizer bar for improved driving stability and safety.”

The Isuzu ELF light truck‘s rear axle is made of high-strength, high-quality steel plates that are stamped and welded for strength and minimal deformation. The gear is treated with a powerful shot peening process for increased torsion-bearing capacity. The lightweight design of the shaft head hub is built to exceed safety standards with over 20% more capacity than the international standard of 6 times the bearing capacity. The ultra-high-strength rear axle reduces chassis weight while maintaining load capacity, improving fuel economy, and meeting user needs for heavier loads.
