Technical Description
Designed for rapid and efficient fire suppression, the ISUZU 5000L Water & 300L Foam Firefighting Truck integrates advanced engineering and robust construction to meet diverse emergency scenarios. Built on the ISUZU/QL1180XMFRY6 chassis with a 4×2 drive configuration, this vehicle combines mobility and power, featuring a modified double-row cab (upgraded from the original single-row design) to accommodate additional crew members. The upper body incorporates an exposed water tank with a total capacity of 5,000 liters of water and 300 liters of foam concentrate, ensuring extended operational readiness.
The aluminum alloy rolling shutter doors on the equipment box enhance durability while maintaining lightweight efficiency. Power is seamlessly transferred from the chassis to the CB10/40-XZ atmospheric fire pump, strategically installed in the rear pump compartment and driven via a universal coupling system. This setup guarantees a stable output of 40 liters per second (L/s) at 1.0 MPa pressure, enabling rapid deployment in critical situations.
Mounted on the roof, the PL8/32 fire monitor delivers a powerful flow rate of 32 L/s at 0.8 MPa (with a maximum pressure of 1.2 MPa), achieving an effective range of ≥60 meters for water and ≥50 meters for foam. Its 360° rotational capability ensures omnidirectional coverage, while the vehicle’s high specific power-to-weight ratio, operational simplicity, and centralized control interface optimize performance in high-pressure environments.
Material & Structural Integrity
- Frame Construction: The primary chassis framework is fabricated using 20# steel and welded via CO₂ shielded arc welding, ensuring exceptional tensile strength, structural rigidity, and resistance to deformation under extreme loads.
- Equipment Compartment: Reinforced with high-strength aluminum alloy profiles, the internal equipment box features a unibody protective skirt design that balances aesthetic appeal with functional durability. Interior surfaces are lined with anodized aluminum alloy sheets featuring anti-slip patterns, complemented by corner-edge aluminum trim to enhance corrosion resistance and reduce weight.
Paint & Aesthetic Specifications
Adhering to GB/T3181 standards, the vehicle’s exterior is coated in fire-engine red (R03 specification) for high visibility, with the following detailed finishes:
- Cab & Body: Glossy fire-engine red.
- Equipment Compartment Interior: Light gray for reduced glare and improved workspace clarity.
- Rolling Shutter Doors: Natural aluminum finish for corrosion resistance.
- Chassis Frame: Matte black to minimize visual distractions.
- Wheel Rims: Polished silver for durability.
- Fenders & Bumpers: Neutral gray to complement the primary color scheme.
Compliance & Certification
- Safety Standards: Fully compliant with GB7956 firefighting vehicle regulations.
- Chassis Certification: Passes China’s Compulsory Product Certification (CCC) for roadworthiness and safety.
- Emission Compliance: Equipped with a China VI-compliant engine, reducing nitrogen oxides (NOx) and particulate matter (PM) emissions to meet stringent environmental protocols.
Operational Advantages
- Dual-Agent Versatility: Effortlessly switches between water (for Class A fires: wood, textiles) and foam (for Class B fires: flammable liquids, petrochemicals).
- Enhanced Mobility: The 4×2 drive system and compact double-row cab design enable agile navigation through urban streets and industrial zones.
- Rapid Deployment: High-pressure pumps and monitors allow immediate response to contain fires before escalation.
- Low Maintenance: Corrosion-resistant materials and modular components reduce downtime and lifecycle costs.
